2024 Annual Project Tour
On Tuesday August 20th, several members of other conservation organizations joined us on our “project tour” of the Blue Earth County area public conservation lands.
This year’s tour took us on the eastern side of the county. For approximately two hours we were able to converse about several projects our chapter has had a role in as well as help identify possible future improvement needs.
Our board believes these tours are beneficial in assessing existing parcels and helps foster good working relationships with partners. We are very pleased others see the value in this and choose to participate also.
A thank you to members of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources who joined us as well as representatives of Pheasants Forever, Key Cities Conservation Club and the Ducks Unlimited Chapters of Lake Crystal and Lost Marsh.
